There's a quote I heard the other day that shifted how I look at my life. 

The person you will be in 5 years depends largely on the information you feed your mind today. Be picky about the books you read, the people you spend time with and the conversations you engage in.

Who do you want to be in five years? Are you working towards that person? Frankly... I don't know who I'd like to be in five years or where I will be in five years. While I am a planner, I don't plan that far out in advance. 

That said, while I don't know where I'll be, I realized that the quote is right. It's not so much about a plan or saying "I will be this or that." It's about feeding yourself the good things and knowing they will shape you to be better and happier- both now and in the long run.
